A tailor-made living space

We offer a variety of rooms subject to availability.

Clients are actively encouraged to individualise their room and are therefore able to bring some of their own personal effects and small items of furniture if they wish to do so. The home has three well equipped bathrooms and a separate toilet for general use. All are equipped with Nurse call systems should assistance be required.

Each of our rooms have their own character and are light and spacious with a personal call system that alert the staff on duty, ensuring that assistance is only the push of a button way.

Sundial offers our clients the choice of a quiet lounge and day lounge complete with a Television and Stereo. Other quiet areas are located around the home.

Providing a safe and secure outdoor environment

Private landscaped grounds surround the home. The private gardens provide a safe secure environment to enjoy, with well-maintained flowerbeds, established borders and trees to make the gardens a tranquil setting to relax and explore. Clients are encouraged to enjoy the gardens with the added security of CCTV to give them the freedom to wander and relax without feeling that they need to be escorted by staff at all times.

In the summer months the patio tables and chairs encourage our clients to enjoy the beautiful views and fresh air.

We also have a summer house in the gardens which you are welcome to use.

Carefully Curated Activities

At Sundial our residents are encouraged to maintain their skills and hobbies and to participate and express their opinions and wishes in regards to the activities provided. The home employs two staff members who are focused on activities. Families and friends can view our facebook page to see what is happening within the home.

The home also accesses activities via the local community, through the local schools, churches and other local organisations that help to support the residents of Sundial Cottage.
